About us
Lia & Yannick Brügger

Good businesses deserve strong brands.
We bring out what makes a business special – with clear ideas, strong brands and a feel for the people behind them.
We're Lia and Yannick, the two minds behind Studio Five eight. We're fascinated by how a business becomes a brand that people know, recognize and connect with.
For us it's about more than good design. We want to understand what makes a business tick, what it stands for and what sets it apart. Because that's exactly where a strong brand begins.
We think beyond the next post.
Whether it's a family business wanting a modern look, a young company just starting out, or an existing logo that needs to become a proper brand – we look at the big picture. From strategy and design through to delivery.
What matters to us? Working together as equals. We want to get to know our clients, understand their businesses and develop ideas together that genuinely suit them. No needless detours, no agency jargon, no concepts that end up gathering dust in a drawer.
We like being on site, we're behind the camera ourselves, we bring our own ideas and we'll tell you when we'd do something differently. We've worked with many of our clients for years – which brings new ideas, exciting projects and a partnership that grows over time.
Rooted locally. Open to new perspectives.
Our roots are in the Sense District. For just over a year we've also been working in the Saanenland around Gstaad, spending much of our time there – it's become our second home. At the same time, we love discovering new places, switching perspectives and bringing fresh ideas into our work.
We believe strong brands aren't built by copying others, but by recognizing what makes a business unique – and showing it consistently.
That's Studio Five eight. Personal to work with. Clear on strategy. Creative in delivery.

Lia Brügger
Hi, I'm Lia! Mediamatics specialist, creative mind and usually the one keeping track of everything around here.
What do I love most about my job? The people behind it. I love getting to know new businesses, swapping ideas and working out together what makes a brand truly special. Whether it's a first meeting, the middle of a branding process or an impromptu croissant – for me, good conversations are as much part of the job as good design.
Honest opinions, mutual trust and uncomplicated teamwork matter to me. I'm happy to say what I think, but I like listening at least as much. And if we can share a laugh along the way, all the better.
And when I'm not working on brands?
Then I'm almost certainly in the kitchen. I love cooking, baking and experimenting with my sourdough – ideally with good ingredients, a bit of patience and lots of joy in trying things out.
Not so different from brand development, really. Good things need the right ingredients, a light touch and sometimes the courage to try something new.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and your business!

Hi, I'm Yannick! Creative mind, strategist and usually the one who's already got ten new ideas.
I'm fascinated by what becomes possible when good ideas, clear design and the right strategy come together. I like questioning the status quo, thinking around corners and helping businesses and their brands move forward.
What matters most to me? Honest communication, mutual trust and teamwork where everyone gets to chip in. As a qualified coach, I'm interested not only in the business but in the person behind it. I like to listen, occasionally ask awkward questions and try to boil even complex topics down to the essentials.
And when I'm not working on brands?
Then you'll almost certainly find me out on a trail – ideally in the mountains of the Saanenland, but really anywhere with good running routes. Trail running is my perfect balance: being outdoors, discovering new paths, pushing limits and clearing my head.
What's that got to do with my work? Quite a lot. I'm curious, I like a challenge and I believe that with stamina, openness and the right people you can achieve a great deal.
I'm looking forward to exciting projects, good conversations and building something together that we can all be proud of.
